In partnership with universities and research centers, APAD organizes an international conference every two years, alternately in Africa and Europe. Bringing together around 200 participants, these conferences provide a space for dialogue and debate on recent research in social anthropology and development. They offer members and other interested parties the opportunity to meet and exchange. These conferences lead to publications in the APAD journal and book series.
